2024 saw major renovations to the inside of the Peshastin library, courtesy of NCW Libraries’ Reimagining Spaces Project. It also saw major renovations under the library, when we discovered structural issues that required the Friends, as owners of the library building, to replace rotting floor beams. As a small non-profit, the cost of the necessary repairs represented a substantial chunk of our ‘emergency' fund. We are always grateful for donations, large or small, from our community. In light of the unexpected and substantial expenses, we are hoping folks will continue to support our work to maintain the wonderful resource we all share: our library!
